Segovia 1/2

Well id like to start by saying I'm in a considerably better mood than I was yesterday, the reason for that is more than likely because I'm in Spain!!!

Spain is absolutely amazing, beautiful, scenic and friendly.

If you have been reading the itinerary I uploaded you know that our first day in Spain would be spent in Segovia. An awesome town known mostly for it's historical aqueduct built by the romans quadrillions of years ago to carry water from one place to another.
I feel I haven't given the aqueduct a good plug so I'll let the monument do the talking with a few pics.

Got the idea of how rad that thing is?... Good!

Now although Spain is awesome and all, I can't just say the good things and omit the negatives, I won't go to into to much detail but the accommodation could have been better (pic 4,5)

Pretty much our entire first day consisted of free time which was awesome considering we wanted to just chill out a but after the insanity of the plane ride.
We got to experience shopping in Spain which was so amazingly cheap it want funny. Eg 900ml vodka = 4€, 4 mars bars = .75€
So as you can imagine we spent much of the day scouting for deals, buying amazing food and souvenir items, also scaling the aqueduct as well as testing my feeble language skills through speaking to locals and making great friends.

But understandably or lack of sleep on the plane had to catch up to us eventually. So after a winner winner chicken dinner, we all hit the sack so the dream could continue :)

The rest if the photos are our fun times during free time. Enjoy

NOTE: the pictures got scrambled around and made upside down.
Sorry... Deal with it!
